Washington DC

I never thought, in a million years, I would ever get up the courage to visit a city like Washington D.C. Never. Especially after the 9/11 tragedy. So if you would have told me that I would have been in THIS city, a day after the anniversary of 9/11... I would have called you crazy. Although I didn't make it "like a normal person"... I did make it. That's SUCCESS in my book! I have all these memories captured to prove it! I do print our pictures and keep year books of photos for the kids, but videos are also nice. It's great to share our moments with family and friends who can't be with us as much as they'd like.

At the end, is a clip of Truitt in our room the night we after we got home. He was giggling non-stop. That tired giggle. And his laugh is so contagious that we were all laughing. We couldn't even tell him to calm down with a straight face! So we just enjoyed the moment laughing at nothing until we were worn out. What a great memory!
