This is a snapshot of my real life, as a real mom; as a real wife. It is not to be used, by anyone, as a crutch for poor or neglectful parenting. Rather, as an encouragement that you're not the only one out there who finds that life isn't running as smoothly as you thought it would.
You see, the more we keep pretending life is perfect, the harder it's going to get. For us, for young moms watching us, and for our daughters. Thanks to Facebook, Twitter, vlogs and blogs, every generation after us is only going to see the "perfect" part of our lives and they will try to attain something that is impossible. We are setting the bar too high by competing with other moms for the top spot. The only prize you're going to get is insanity! We are setting future generations up for failure if we don't start recognizing that real life, as a real mom is HARD! But it's also the best, most humbling, rewarding gift God could ever bestow upon one person.
This is my attempt to show you that being a mom to six little ones has it's ups and downs and that having the hottest, most compassionate, patient co-worker around, is one of two reasons I can survive this crazy life. (God being first).
Most often it will be just pictures I post. An update or caption here and there. So when you're having a rough day... take a timeout, checkout my blog and have a good laugh. Someday you'll look back and miss that rough day you're having. (so I've been told).
Hopefully you'll find some encouragement here!
