No one calls, or texts, or emails (or even checks my blog!) without FB. Guess I'll have to go out and find "real" friends in the real world.
Which brings me to my next point... I'm feeling...um...kind of "unheard" (?) Not sure just yet....it comes and goes. Between no "outside" contact, and the normal things that happen with my kids having selective listening.... it's tough. I'll live. The mister is getting ready to travel abroad for about a month, so I suppose I'd better take up a new book, or finish the baby blanket I've been working on for months!
Last week I had a migraine for 5 days straight. On day 5, I was positive I would have to go into the hospital for some relief. I managed, but I hated being out of commission. I even had house guests! I think we've decided that the roller coaster of weather changes we've been having, is the culprit.
Today is "Fun Friday". I love planning for this day of the week. We try to do stuff for free or cheap, but I always go overboard. My kids are only little once! Tonight we did banana splits. I don't know what made me think of it, but I realized my kids have never had one! So that's what we did! It was fun!

Today, after we ran our morning errands, we met daddy out at the drop zone to watch him jump. Sadly, the jump was scratched after lots of waiting. But it was good to be outside. I found it funny that an airplane was landing, literally, feet from the kids AND very loud artillery exploding next door and the kids were playing like it were nothing out of the ordinary! I guess for a military kid, it IS!
My ONLY niece was here to visit this weekend and we all went to the zoo. Fun times!

Little M has been growing her hair out for over a year. She always wants to pull it up "like mommy's". I'm so flattered!
My two boys at Mr. T's finger appointment. The doctor said it was def. fractured and should heal in about 6 more weeks!

I got to do something this week that I haven't had the time to do in a LONG time... take pics of my kids. NOT cellphone pics either. :) Here's a sneak peek! My little K!
Well... I'm ready to take back up my photography hobby. I just wish I had the money for a better camera and more time for clients. I love this art! This is the part I love most... seeing my kids, frozen in time.

ReplyDeleteI've stepped away from FB for a week or so before myself - due to inflated blood pressure every time I did so! I realized it was ruling my life and that just couldn't be.
It was a TOUGH week. I hadn't realized how much I reached out to people through it - sometimes to say hi, sometimes for a question, a conversation, or just a rant.
And so much just to keep up on my long distance friends day to day lives!
I'll be praying for you and your lonliness. I understand completely.
Hello REAL life friend! Glad you still know my blog address! Lots of friends don't know I'm even gone yet because I didn't have a lot of warning! I'm sad but it's a good thing. God is growing me in new areas. Just lonely!
