Broken Hand

So how funny is life? The day I wrote my last blog entry, the mister comes home with a new tasking from work. It requires shutting down public access to my life. Yay! So I complain about feeling a bit lonely and out of touch... and I get to shut down my facebook! I may have to shut down this blog for a little while too. At least until he's done with his course. We will see!

Day 1 with no facebook means I have a lot more time for things! Crazy! I typically use my phone for FB, but I def. feel out of touch! It's like the morning news, I don't know what's going on with anyone!

Not doing anything with my life is surprisingly time consuming.

In other news:

Mr. T broke part of his hand. Bad mom part is he broke it around 10am, and I brushed it off as being dramatic. He even said "Mom, I broke my hand." and I looked at it and said "No no, it's fine. Have some ice." He quit crying and just sort of mentioned it every 45 minutes or so. Finally around 2pm I thought, if he's remembering to mention it this much, it must really hurt! So I took a closer look. It still wasn't too bad looking but it had started to bruise. Finally he napped, and the mister came home. He inspected the damaged hand and Mr. T still slept. Except he touched a specific part and Mr. T immediately woke up and fussed. So I took him in for xrays and sure enough, he broke it! It's not bad. It's right on the growth plate so he has to get constant rechecks from an orthopedic surgeon to make sure it heals correctly. The worst part for him is missing gymnastics and he HATES the thing on his hand. Thankfully it was not on his dominant hand, but he sure lets me know how much he'd love to use that hand.

Well, that's what's going on. Looking forward to a visit from my sister-in-law, her husband and my only niece in just a few days! Can't wait to love on little A! Skype is great, but it's not the same as being able to hold her!

Off to clean house!
